|Adventure RIde - Sixes and Elk|
Informal no-drop ride, unsupported so bring your own supplies.
Meet at Elk River Hatchery gravel parking lot off Elk River Road at 9am. We will load up and shuttle to the end of the pavement on Sixes Road. (this is so your cars will be waiting for you when you get done after the ride)
We will ride the Sixes River Road starting at the gravel, up and over back to the Hatchery on Elk River Road.
Expect a hilly and fun ride on gravel. It's about a 35 mile ride. Mountain bikes, hardtail, fat bikes, pedal-assist e-bikes, or wider tire adventure road/gravel bikes should be your wheels of choice. And gearing low enough for a couple of long steep climbs!
Bring weather appropriate clothing, snacks, water, helmet, handsaw, repair and medical kits and your adventure bike!!
Please RSVP so we can make sure we have enough space for shuttling to the start.
If you want to ride the whole loop (about 60 miles), start and end at the Fish Hatchery on Elk River Road, taking the 101 back north to Sixes River Road.
Monsoon rains will postpone.
