|Bike Packing 101|
The last Wednesday of each month we host a free 1-hour workshop here at South Coast Bicycles in Bandon. Each workshop will be different and rotate/repeat throughout the year. This is open to all ages, genders, and skill levels but will primarily cater to the beginner cyclist, ensuring you a sense of empowerment, self-reliance, and freedom to ride farther and longer.
This month we are offering our bike packing class.
Join us for our Free Wednesday Workshop on March 29th, all about Bike Packing.
Interested in going on longer rides, but not sure what you need and how to pack?
Planning a cross country adventure? Oregon Coast Bike Route? Maybe going out elk hunting next fall and want to use just your bike?
This clinic will cover the basics of what and how to pack for a bike packing adventure. Whether you're a credit card tourist or a fully self-supported adventure cyclist, this clinic will be great for you! This workshop will cover: ~ The Credit Card setup for road-bike day-trippers taking on only moderate miles ~ Long miles, cross bike setup for riders with their eyes on the horizon ~ Mountain bike setup for rugged terrain bikepacking where suspension is needed. ~ Fully-loaded Touring Bike setup for those going out to test their mind and bicycles' strength. ~ How and were to pack items ~ Different types of rack systems, pack systems, and more!
Clinic starts at 6pm and will roughly last 1-1.5 hours. Mark your calendars, this clinic is a wealth of information.
